Work Environment\n

This position is remote, utilizing a telehealth model to ensure safe and effective delivery of mental health services. As a member of our dynamic team, you will engage in virtual consultations and therapy sessions, equipped with advanced technology and support systems to foster a productive therapeutic environment. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate patient needs, with primary hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' unique histories and identify effective treatment methods tailored to their specific needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and positive coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment where patients feel safe to explore their trauma experiences and develop new skills.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and address the diverse needs of the patient population.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and significant resources available to aid in recovery.

• Accurately document therapy sessions and treatment processes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic specializes in working with individuals impacted by trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will involve forming therapeutic relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique stories and challenges. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you will help clients process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and build resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and techniques for resilience enhancement.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively.

• Capability to maintain composure and provide supportive guidance in high-stress situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
