Introduction The Hen and The Hog Restaurant, South Florida's premiere Brunch Restaurant, is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. You must have extensive breakfast experience. As a chef you will oversee a scratch kitchen and ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Tremendous growth opportunity as we are aggressively expanding our award‑winning brand. There are NO EVENING HOURS, so you will have a wonderful quality of life position. YOU MUST BE TALENTED ON THE LINE TO JOIN OUR TEAM. Responsibilities Assist in supervising kitchen staff. Ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards, including adhering to food safety guidelines and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed. Monitor food and labor costs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including adhering to cleaning schedules and safety protocols. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a chef or kitchen manager or in a similar leadership role. Strong breakfast experience. Strong leadership and management skills. Proficiency with kitchen equipment and food safety guidelines. Knowledge of inventory management and cost control. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
