This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while also ensuring that you can effectively connect with students and staff within our partnered educational institutions in Portland, Oregon. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates to support the mental health of students and address any challenges they may face.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Melodic Mind, you will have a wide array of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations for students, identifying their mental health needs and developing tailored support plans.
\n
• Creating and presenting comprehensive treatment plans to the Clinical and Community Resources Program (CDRP) team for insights and evidence-based recommendations.
\n
• Participating in regular case conferences to discuss student progress, challenges, and necessary modifications to therapy interventions.
\n
• Delivering educational lectures focused on chemical dependency and mental health topics to students, faculty, and parents, fostering awareness and understanding.
\n
• Providing individualized and group counseling sessions that specifically address substance use issues, mental health challenges, and family dynamics.
\n
• Facilitating group therapy sessions targeting adolescents, significant others, and families to improve communication and support structures.
\n
• Managing case coordination activities, linking students and their families to community resources and support systems.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary populations served in this role include adolescents facing mental health challenges, particularly those struggling with chemical dependency and related issues. You will work closely with students, their families, and school personnel to promote a supportive environment conducive to healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience within the past five years, specifically in addiction medicine or mental health therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will be viewed favorably:

Compensation and Benefits\n
