Pro Movement Physical Therapy Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. Work Environment

This full-time position operates on-site at our rehabilitation facility, where our team fosters a friendly and motivated atmosphere. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience while dedicating your skills and passion to patient care. We cater primarily to patients with private medical insurance, thus ensuring a streamlined focus on quality and personalized treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and requirements, effectively tailoring treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
• Manage a patient load that allows for dedicated one-on-one sessions, ensuring every patient receives undivided attention.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic care to design and implement innovative rehabilitation programs that emphasize patient recovery and progression.
• Develop and execute customized fitness and wellness plans that enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall wellness.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques, incorporating non-surgical options to decrease reliance on medications and promote holistic recovery.
• Engage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, motivating them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, contributing to comprehensive care strategies and enhancing treatment outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services comprehensively to ensure accurate care records and communication.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness continually, adjusting care plans in response to patient progress and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with primarily consist of individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Many of our patients are recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. You will be instrumental in not only restoring physical function but also empowering patients through education, encouraging them to adopt healthier lifestyles that promote long-term well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role.
• Candidates must hold a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no history of disciplinary actions against their license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise regimens is essential.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred to ensure streamlined documentation and tracking of patient care.

Preferred Experience

Applicants should possess at least three years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Previous exposure to managing complex cases and familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation practices will be beneficial in delivering optimal patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
