Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and medical team to coordinate comprehensive mental health treatment for patients both within our facility and in external settings.

• Conduct in-service training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and support staff to enhance understanding of mental health issues and improve emergency response strategies.

• Assess and manage mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation strategies and supportive interventions to maintain patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Participate in commitment hearings as required, supporting legal and clinical processes. This may involve preparation of documentation and active participation in discussions concerning treatment options.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring clinical interventions are evidence-based and effective.
\n
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, adhering to compliance standards and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive medical records.

• Verify and evaluate the psychiatric history of patients, including reviewing past use of psychotropic medications, to enhance treatment planning.

• Prepare and present regular reports as necessary, sharing insights on patient progress and treatment outcomes with the medical team.

• Coordinate with nursing and mental health staff for post-release referrals, ensuring patients have access to continued care and resources after discharge.

Compensation and Benefits\n
