Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for a work-life balance that suits your needs. You will be part of a collaborative team that meets virtually to discuss best practices, share resources, and celebrate successes. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing structure while allowing flexibility to manage your caseload effectively. Our outpatient office, although virtual, is structured to ensure that you have the support and resources necessary for effective remote counseling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, leading to the formulation of personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions using therapeutic techniques suited to each client’s unique situation.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress and therapeutic interventions in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to remain informed about evolving mental health therapies and practices.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing services for clients from various backgrounds and with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is vital in facilitating healing and growth, and you will adopt culturally sensitive approaches to meet the diverse needs of your clients. Establishing strong therapeutic alliances will be key in promoting client engagement and positive treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• An active mental health license in California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or an equivalent license).

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of therapeutic approaches and client-centered care.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology for telehealth provisions and virtual client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who have experience working within an outpatient setting or have a strong background in teletherapy. Additional training in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be considered a significant asset. Experience with diverse populations and trauma-informed care will enhance your suitability for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
