Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ counseling needs to establish individualized treatment plans.

• Utilizing the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to diagnose substance use disorders and determine suitable levels of care in accordance with ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) guidelines.

• Preparing and facilitating the substance abuse treatment sections of client treatment plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement therapeutic strategies.

• Documenting all counseling sessions, treatment progress, and case management activities thoroughly in the client’s clinical record, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Maintaining an active caseload, which involves regular updates on treatment plans and clinical charting as required for effective service delivery.

• Coordinating essential support services for clients and their families, including facilitating communication with external referral sources such as legal or educational entities.

• Addressing crisis situations promptly and effectively by utilizing evidence-based interventions and team collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:
