Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy to students to support their emotional and mental well-being, adapting techniques to accommodate individual needs.

• Prepare comprehensive treatment and discharge plans that clearly outline clinical objectives and strategies for ongoing support.
\n
• Gather thorough data about students through direct interviews, case history reviews, and observational techniques to identify underlying issues affecting their emotional health.

• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to create an inclusive treatment approach while maintaining student confidentiality.

• Manage a caseload that includes individual therapy, collateral therapy, and follow-ups to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Ensure all documentation, including assessments, care plans, progress notes, and closing letters, meet compliance standards and are accurately archived in both digital and hard copy systems.

• Regularly review and enhance assessment protocols to align with best practices and the policies of health plan regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve school-aged children and adolescents facing a wide range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Your role will involve understanding the unique challenges they face in both academic and social settings, providing targeted strategies to enhance their coping mechanisms and support their overall development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Active and unrestricted California Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least one year specifically within a mental health or school setting.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage conflict effectively.
