Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff will support the Executive Director by coordinating the organization’s internal operations, managing priorities, and ensuring smooth communication across teams. This role is crucial in enhancing the efficiency of Surmount’s leadership team by streamlining processes, overseeing administrative functions, and ensuring alignment across departments. Additionally, the Chief of Staff will be responsible for planning and managing the agenda and flow of the leadership team meetings, ensuring productive discussions and actionable outcomes. Responsibilities Assist the Executive Director in managing daily tasks, coordinating schedules, and prioritizing organizational initiatives. Develop agendas for leadership team meetings, facilitate meeting flow, and ensure timely follow-up on action items. Act as a liaison between the Executive Director and other members of the Executive Team to ensure clear communication and progress on key initiatives.
