PhysioSpace LLC is actively seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated team in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite within a hospital setting, where you will engage with patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and rehabilitation tools, ensuring you have access to the resources necessary to deliver effective therapeutic interventions. With a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will enjoy a consistent routine that allows for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering therapeutic exercises prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring exercises are tailored to the patient's specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize various modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy to relieve pain and enhance the recovery process.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting improvements and responses to treatments in accordance with clinic standards, facilitating communication and adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with Physical Therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes and provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Virginia.
