Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Honor Physical Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to assess functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment strategies that may include exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain, restore function, and promote overall health.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, providing consultations on patient care continuity and discussing changes with healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, self-management strategies, and ways to enhance recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment outcomes, and billing records, complying with legal and certification requirements.
• Participate in ongoing staff training, workshops, community outreach activities, and supervision of support staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients, their families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and word processing tools for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional specialties or certifications (such as CSCS or OCS) in specific areas of physical therapy are preferred. Experience working within a team-oriented, rehabilitative setting will also be beneficial in excelling in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
