Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual counseling sessions through secure video conferencing tools to support clients in improving their mental health.

• Facilitate discussions around emotions and life experiences to enable clients to gain insights about themselves and their interpersonal relationships.

• Act as a strong advocate for clients, helping them set and achieve personal goals for their mental health and well-being.

• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, and create comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused methodologies tailored to individual needs.

• Maintain detailed, yet minimal, documentation of therapy sessions as you focus on client care rather than extensive administrative tasks.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with are pre-screened, stable individuals experiencing low acuity mental health issues. This ensures that your expertise can effectively address their needs, allowing for impactful and rewarding interactions. By prioritizing a manageable client load, you will have the capacity to provide high-quality care and follow up effectively on treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid independent license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Demonstrated ability to conduct professional evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans based on clients' unique circumstances.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a sensitivity towards clients' needs and emotional states.
\n
• Strong proficiency in computer skills; ability to navigate telehealth technology and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in virtual interactions.

• Experience working in telehealth or virtual counseling settings.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques conducive to client success in a remote format.
