This remote position allows you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home, while also facilitating outreach and connection with clients through our outpatient office model. This position is primarily remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your work from your home office. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to identify clients’ mental health challenges, ensuring accurate clinical diagnoses.
\n
• Design individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, among others.

• Administer individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing specialized approaches catered to the unique needs and goals of each client.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support to clients facing acute mental health crises, and facilitating appropriate referral services when necessary.
\n
• Maintain client confidentiality by accurately documenting all interactions, including treatment progress notes, assessment results, and treatment plans, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community support organizations, to create a comprehensive treatment experience.

• Engage in client education to enhance understanding of mental health issues and available community resources, while advocating for their rights and needs when appropriate.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and supervision to remain informed about innovations and best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups from various backgrounds in the Sacramento area. Our clients present a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more. By understanding the unique challenges each client faces, you will tailor your therapeutic approach to foster healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in the state of California.

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or social work is preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential for effective treatment planning.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
