Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patient needs and histories, establishing the groundwork for effective treatment.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and promote resilience among patients.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual patient requirements.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe forum for patients to share their experiences, learn coping strategies, and advance their healing process.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for our patients.

• Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and introduce them to appropriate coping mechanisms and community resources.

• Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with emerging trends and research in trauma therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to physical, emotional, and psychological abuse. Tailoring your approach to address the unique experiences of each patient, you will contribute to their overall recovery and mental well-being, promoting empowerment and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working in mental health care, preferably with trauma-focused populations.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach.

• The ability to maintain composure and provide support in high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and efficient computer navigation.

• A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to engage as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, additional experience with specialized trauma-informed therapies and crisis intervention is highly valued.
