Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct engaging telehealth therapy sessions with children, adolescents, and their families to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

• Deliver family therapy sessions designed to help parents and caregivers foster a nurturing and supportive environment at home.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure cohesive and coordinated treatment plans.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and local community resources that can enhance their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems as required.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to discussions around best practices and treatment effectiveness.

• Stay updated on current research trends, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges of each young client.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account developmental milestones and family dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily provide mental health counseling services to children and adolescents facing various challenges, including behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Our goal is to create tailored therapeutic approaches that respond to the unique needs of young individuals. By engaging parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, you will work to establish a supportive framework that enhances the overall mental wellness of the entire family.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active clinical license in the state of California as either an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or an equivalent degree.

• Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary team is highly desirable.

• A Master’s degree in relevant fields such as social work, counseling psychology, or marriage and family therapy is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
