Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify specific needs and develop tailored treatment goals that facilitate recovery from substance use disorders.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapeutic practices, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and relapse prevention strategies.

• Provide compassionate individual counseling sessions while employing therapeutic modalities that foster resilience and self-efficacy in clients.

• Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions aimed at fostering peer support and fostering a sense of community among participants during their recovery journey.

• Engage in collaborative planning with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated care that is responsive to clients' evolving needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute substance-related emergencies, ensuring a calm and supportive environment.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, evidence-based recovery strategies, and available community resources, promoting informed decision-making.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and professional ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development workshops to enhance service delivery and keep abreast of the latest research in substance use treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily serves individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders, ranging from mild to severe cases. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds and often face co-occurring mental health issues, requiring a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach to treatment. As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be instrumental in guiding these clients through their recovery process, helping them build resilience and develop coping mechanisms for long-term wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington state.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of substance use disorders and effective, evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
