Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake interviews and assessments, gathering psycho-social data from clients, families, and relevant stakeholders to inform tailored treatment plans.

• Maintain detailed and professional program files as per procedures outlined by the Washington Administrative Code (WAC), ensuring compliance and confidentiality.

• Develop and implement crisis and treatment plans collaboratively with clients, focusing on their strengths and goals to promote recovery and resilience.

• Consult regularly with psychiatric providers, advanced registered nurse practitioners (ARNP), and other specialists to provide an integrated approach to client care.

• Provide appropriate referrals to external services when necessary, ensuring that clients have access to comprehensive resources beyond the counselor's practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals facing mental health challenges, as well as families and couples seeking support. Our clientele includes adolescents with substance use disorders and trauma histories, which provides a rewarding challenge for counseling professionals driven to effect positive change in these communities. You will utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support clients in overcoming barriers to their mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMHC license from the Washington State Department of Health at the time of hire is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Must reside in Washington State.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally in an integrated healthcare setting that includes primary care services.

• Specialized training or experience in treating adolescents with substance use disorders.
\n
• Experience or specialized training in family therapy, particularly with families impacted by a member’s substance use disorder.
\n
• Experience providing trauma-informed care.
\n
• A minimum of one year of direct experience in substance use disorder treatment within the last five years or completion of a relevant internship prior to hire/transfer.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
