Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, offering flexibility that allows you to balance your work life with personal commitments while providing care to clients through a telehealth platform. Our State-licensed professionals collaborate closely with each other and coordinate care efficiently to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, establish rapport, and formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, in individual sessions and group settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that encourage group interaction and provide valuable coping strategies for common mental health issues.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive, patient-centered care.

• Respond to mental health crises by providing immediate support and interventions as necessary.
\n
• Educate patients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to enhance their understanding and involvement in their care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with ethical and legal requirements, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared learning.

• Stay current with advancements in mental health research and treatment methodologies to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Barwon, you will work with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges. This includes working with individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and a wide range of life transitions. You will be instrumental in providing a supportive and empathetic environment where clients feel safe to explore their challenges and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Strong expertise in facilitating both individual and group therapy to diverse populations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with patients.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.

• Ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team focused on collaborative patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
