Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions to clients, focusing on stress reduction and emotional regulation through techniques such as meditation and breathing exercises.
• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to gauge clients' mental and emotional challenges, allowing for the creation of personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate engaging group workshops that address topics such as stress management and building resilience, aiding clients in developing effective coping strategies.
• Incorporate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions, directly addressing clients' specific mental health concerns.
• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create a seamless, integrative approach to client care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and program evaluations to ensure the highest standards in therapeutic practice.
• Actively engage in personal mindfulness practices and pursue continual professional development, keeping abreast of the latest trends in mindfulness and therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and may present with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. Our clinic's focus on mindfulness equips clients with practical tools to navigate their mental health journeys. Your role will be pivotal in helping them cultivate self-awareness and emotional balance in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
• Solid foundation in counseling principles, with a focus on integrating mindfulness into therapeutic practices.
• Excellent communication skills that foster a calming and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar mindfulness practices is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating autonomy and strong self-motivation.
• Living in or near the Miami area is advantageous for potential in-person community workshops.

Compensation and Benefits
