RN Flex Pool

The Registered Nurse in the Flex Pool provides skilled nursing care across various medical and surgical units, including Medical, Laulima (surgical acute), and Cardiovascular units. This role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. The nurse must be adaptable to floating between units and capable of working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Hawaii by assignment start.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably between 2 to 10 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work night shifts (12-hour shifts, 1845 to 0715).

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Preferred certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Procedural Sedation, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).

• Must comply with mandatory Hawaii nursing licensure prior to assignment.
• Medical and religious exemption requests for immunity proof will not be accepted.
• Floating between multiple units including Medical, Laulima, and Cardiovascular units.
• Nurse-to-patient ratios vary by unit and shift; night ratio up to 1:8 on Medical unit.
• Professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) required.

• 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715.
• Scheduled for 36 hours per week following orientation.
• No guarantee of hours; shift assignments may vary based on unit needs.
