RN Labor and Delivery

The Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery including Post-Partum and Baby Unit on the night shift is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to mothers and newborns. This role includes patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The nurse must be flexible to float to other units and assist with overflow from the Progressive Care Unit in a critical access hospital setting. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Vermont.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably including Labor & Delivery or related specialties.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, critical care environment.

• Experience in Progressive Care Unit or critical care settings.
• Additional certifications related to maternal and neonatal care.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation for field work, if applicable.

• Night shift position with flexibility to float to other units.
• Work environment includes Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, Baby Unit, and Progressive Care Unit.
• Must be prepared to handle critical and emergency situations.

• Night shift schedule.
• Shift assignments may include floating to other units as required.
