HIRING IMMEDIATELY: ACCOUNTING CLERK IN BLOOMFIELD, CT

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Accounting Clerk to join our client in Bloomfield, CT. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for scanning product invoices on a daily basis and providing the accounting analyst with daily volume. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Ranging from $18 - $20/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)
• 8 am-4:30 pm, Overtime Availability
• Hiring immediately in Bloomfield, CT

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Accounting Analyst with Daily Volume for Distribution Center
• Obtain daily fill rate and cycle count information
• Oversee that the purchase order procedure is followed by the Distribution Center
• Complete the 3-way matching verification for payment process of invoices
• Facilitate the standardization of all Distribution Center operational reports to be in line with the clients Administrative Office directives
• Consults with: Accounting Analyst, Accounting Supervisor, Operations Administrative Manager and All levels of Distribution Center Management
• Assist with updating vendor files
• Contact vendors to obtain proper documentation
• Assist with Lumping Process

Requirements and Qualifications

• Some college preferred
• Excel (spreadsheets)
• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of Distribution Center operations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English (read, speak and write)
• Lifting up to 10lbs
• Sitting at a computer for long periods of time
• Climbing stairs and walking through warehouse
• Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment with a variation of temperatures
