Work Environment\n

Our practice offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing counselors to provide care from the comfort of their homes while maintaining a supportive connection with colleagues. Despite the remote nature of our work, we emphasize collaboration through regular team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance our service delivery. The work schedule typically runs Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate patient appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the unique experiences of each patient and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions customized for individual patients, taking into account their cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances.

• Provide therapeutic support through individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on a variety of mental health issues and fostering resilience among patients.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver seamless and coordinated care.

• Respond to mental health crises swiftly, offering immediate support and intervention to mitigate risks and ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, various treatment options, and pertinent community resources available to them to foster awareness and empowerment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in various professional development activities, such as case discussions and training sessions, to stay updated with current research and best practices in mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT , LPC/MHSP , LPC , or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and culturally competent therapy practices.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy using inclusive approaches that cater to diverse populations.

• Solid crisis intervention skills with the ability to provide empathetic support in high-stress situations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for genuine rapport-building with a wide range of individuals.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to using technology in clinical practice.
\n
• A strong adherence to professional and ethical guidelines, including patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
