Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders effectively.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring personalized care.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while regularly monitoring their effectiveness and adjusting dosages as necessary.
• Provide various forms of psychotherapy and counseling, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, ensuring comprehensive and holistic treatment approaches.
• Educate patients and family members about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and beneficial self-care strategies.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including therapy outcomes and medication responses, and conduct regular follow-ups to assess ongoing treatment effectiveness.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to contribute to collective knowledge and improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, catering to individuals from various backgrounds experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia, and trauma-related conditions. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing preferred.
• Active PMHNP certification and current state licensure in Florida.
• Strong ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Experience prescribing psychotropic medications and delivering psychotherapy to adult and adolescent patients.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth services.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 200,000 – 250,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
