Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility for both the counselor and clients. However, occasional in-person sessions may be held at our outpatient office in Edison, empowering our counselors to create rapport and connection when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients’ mental health status and needs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with the client’s goals and therapeutic needs. This involves regular review and adjustment of these plans based on client progress.

• Facilitate counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families, employing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness approaches, and solution-focused techniques.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client sessions, treatment progress, and clinical notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure holistic care for clients and to discuss treatment strategies where appropriate.

• Uphold a high standard of confidentiality and privacy in handling client information, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits\n
