Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual and family dynamics.

• Providing individual therapy and collateral therapy to clients, maintaining a manageable caseload, and ensuring each session meets the therapeutic goals.

• Delivering family counseling and temperament counseling focused on improving parent-child interactions and overall family harmony.

• Planning and facilitating training sessions and workshops for a broad range of stakeholders, including social workers, educators, and legal professionals, on family dynamics and mental health issues.

• Intervening effectively during crises, applying evidence-based therapeutic approaches to maintain client safety and wellbeing.

• Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes within our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.

• Staying informed about the latest research and practices in marriage and family therapy to enhance service delivery methodologically.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will work primarily with children, adults, and families experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Our clients may present with issues such as addiction, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and concerns related to gender identity. The ideal candidate should be skilled in therapeutic approaches that address these complex issues, with sensitivity to the cultural diversity represented in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.

• An active and appropriate California License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
