Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms among clients.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs, goals, and preferences, utilizing modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

• Employ evidence-based treatment approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective interventions and foster client engagement.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery process.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessment and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to refine therapeutic strategies continually.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with legal and ethical guidelines regarding privacy and security.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development exercises to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with clients facing significant personal and relational difficulties, particularly focusing on those undergoing divorce, estrangement, or significant life transitions. Your role will involve guiding individuals and families through these complex emotional landscapes, helping to rebuild connections and foster healthier relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
