Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing flexibility and comfort while still ensuring proximity to our local schools as needed. The position operates on a full-time schedule, with standard work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. However, adaptability is key, as occasional evening or weekend hours may be necessary to accommodate the needs of students and their families. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify psychosocial needs, including emotional, mental, and social factors impacting their academic and personal lives.

• Develop personalized, actionable care plans in collaboration with students, families, and school staff, ensuring alignment with each student's goals and preferences.

• Provide direct counseling services and emotional support to students and their families, helping them navigate challenges such as behavioral issues, family dynamics, and life transitions.

• Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and community resources, to ensure seamless support and access to necessary services.

• Advocate for students' rights, working to remove barriers to their education and mental health resources, and ensuring access to essential community support services.

• Document all interactions and interventions systematically using our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including attending workshops and training sessions focused on emerging trends in social work and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged students and their families within the Gilbert, Arizona community. You will work with a diverse population, addressing issues related to emotional wellbeing, academic performance, social integration, and family dynamics. Understanding the challenges faced by students, including trauma, mental health disorders, and family issues, will be crucial in providing effective support and guidance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a social work role, with a preference for those with backgrounds in school settings or community health.

• Strong knowledge of social work principles, aging-related issues, and awareness of community resources available for students and families.

• Demonstrated ability in assessment, counseling, and problem-solving skills, especially tailored to the school environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
