Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, tailoring your approach to each client's specific needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Empower clients and their families with education and resources regarding mood disorders, self-care techniques, and treatment options available to them.

• Monitor client progress continuously, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and addressing any issues that may arise during therapy.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients who may require additional medical interventions.

• Participate in regular case consultations and staff meetings, contributing insights and sharing strategies to enhance service delivery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Advocate for clients to help eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and to ensure access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including those from marginalized communities such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
