Key Responsibilities Conduct client assessments and document therapy sessions per the organization’s policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality. Deliver crisis intervention when immediate psychological treatment is necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Engage in continuous professional development through participation in training sessions, workshops, and clinician meetings, staying current with therapeutic methodologies and best practices. Provide a range of therapeutic services to clients, including family therapy, individual therapy, psychological evaluations, and group sessions, tailored to meet their unique needs. Diagnose mental and emotional disorders, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans to address each client's specific challenges. Collaborate with other health care professionals to create a holistic approach to client care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s well-being are addressed. Patient Population / Client Focus As an LMFT at Sierra Vista, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals facing personal challenges to families in crisis. We cater to clients dealing with a wide spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. Understanding the intricacies of familial relationships, you will play a critical role in promoting positive dynamics and facilitating effective communication among family members. Qualifications A current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Washington state. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in the mental health field with a demonstrated ability to handle various mental health challenges. Strong knowledge and expertise in psychological intervention techniques and treatment modalities. Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients to facilitate open communication. Preferred Experience Experience in conducting bariatric psychological evaluations is highly desirable but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools to deliver therapy effectively in a remote setting.
