Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess emotional wellbeing in relation to any existing medical conditions.

• Craft and implement tailored treatment plans that consider and address the intersections between psychiatric and medical issues.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based approaches that cater to the unique needs of each patient.

• Collaborate with our network of healthcare providers to ensure integrated care and optimize treatment effectiveness.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, equipped to handle mental health emergencies effectively.

• Educate patients on the relationship between mental health and physical wellbeing, empowering them to take active roles in managing their health.

• Maintain precise and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in New York State.

• Proven experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with complex medical conditions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
