Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements relevant to mental health practice and telehealth services, ensuring adherence to licensing standards and program certifications.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring open communication and offering timely updates regarding client progress and treatment needs.

• Document client cases accurately and timely, including session notes, administrative records, and compliance-related documentation, while adhering to agency standards.

• Support clients in developing day-to-day living skills; for example, assisting them in meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking while promoting independence and responsibility.

• Observe, assess, and report client mood and behavior, ensuring safety protocols are implemented in all interactions and modeling appropriate safety practices.

• Facilitate medication management by providing prompts, reminders, and monitoring adherence under program specifications, while ensuring proper medication storage and handling.

• Use agency and personal vehicles for client transportation when necessary and teach clients to navigate public transportation options effectively.

• Manage the acquisition of household supplies, ensuring that clients have access to resources that support their daily living needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary client base will consist of youth and families facing various mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our approach prioritizes a strengths-based methodology, recognizing the unique needs of each client and tailoring interventions accordingly.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LPCC in California; please note that we cannot consider applications with an associate license, as these are not billable through Medicare.

• A self-directed work ethic with the capability to operate independently while managing multiple cases effectively.
\n
• Proficient computer skills are essential, especially in Microsoft Office Suite, to facilitate documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not mandatory.
