Collections Specialist

To support a prestigious law firm, the contract-to-perm Collections Specialist will manage client onboarding, payment processing, and financial reporting in a fully remote capacity. Key responsibilities Assist in gathering financial documents and setting up new client profiles to ensure compliance during client onboarding Handle credit card payments, verify transactions, and investigate discrepancies related to payment processing Run and analyze reports on outstanding balances and collections activity for financial reporting purposes Required qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or financial administration Previous experience working within a law firm environment At least a High School diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree is preferred Intermediate-level skills in MS Word and Excel, with required experience in Aderant and Chrome River Ability to effectively communicate with staff, attorneys, and clients both verbally and in writing
