Work Environment

You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, designed to provide a warm and welcoming space for our patients. The workweek consists of Monday to Friday shifts, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while delivering vital services to our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for patients, reviewing their medical history and conducting necessary assessments to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining evaluation findings and collaboratively setting achievable goals based on individual needs.

• Implement and demonstrate proficiency in treatment protocols tailored to each patient's strengths and challenges, ensuring adherence to best practices and evolving healthcare trends.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams as necessary, adapting treatment plans in response to changes in patients' conditions.

• Conduct thorough discharge planning and follow-up, meticulously documenting care activities, evaluation results, and treatment progress to provide a clear and comprehensive overview of the patient's journey.

• Manage your schedule efficiently, meeting productivity benchmarks while maintaining a focus on quality care and patient satisfaction.

• Engage in marketing initiatives both within the hospital and the community, effectively representing the organization's clinical excellence.

• Foster a collaborative departmental environment through participation in setting and reaching departmental goals.

• Dedicating time to your professional development, including pursuing continuing education opportunities and overseeing the practical training of assigned students.

• Advocate for excellent patient access and experience, actively addressing barriers in healthcare delivery through participation in Access NRH initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Active Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or seeking to improve functional mobility. Our goal is to promote recovery and enhance the quality of life for each patient through personalized care plans and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.

• A High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy program is also required.

• Current state licensure is mandatory for practice in Florida.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is essential.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience in a clinical setting is desired, it is not required. We welcome new graduates eager to learn and contribute.

Compensation and Benefits
