Work Environment

This position operates primarily in the field, delivering home health physical therapy services directly to patients in their residences. Our team works closely with diverse patient populations, providing each client with personalized care based on their unique needs. The supportive and collegial atmosphere fosters ongoing communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function while maintaining maximal performance in alignment with established care plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients using diagnostic tests to assess their muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Implement manual therapeutic exercises and provide guidance on non-manual exercises and functional activities, motivating clients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize physical agents, such as traction and massage, to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Evaluate and appropriately fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, recommending modifications to physicians as necessary to improve patient functionality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is tailored for professionals with experience treating a diverse range of patients, particularly in orthopedic settings. You will engage with clients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The focus will be on restoring optimal physical performance and independence, adapting treatment plans to fit the individual needs and lifestyles of clients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist, demonstrating adherence to medical standards and practices.
• At least two (2) years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a proven track record of successfully managing a variety of patient cases.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic assessment and treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with an aptitude for problem-solving.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems to enhance documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in geriatrics, acute care, and outpatient settings will be highly valued. Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic techniques is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, in addition to a performance-based bonus structure. Comprehensive benefits include:
