Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and needs to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs based on patient goals and clinical evidence, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions to enhance patient recovery, mobility, and pain relief.
• Deliver educational resources and guidance to patients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and wellness practices.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patients' progress, outcomes, and modifications to treatment plans as necessary to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with colleagues from various disciplines to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Our clients range from athletes seeking to return to their sport to older adults looking to maintain mobility and independence. Your compassionate approach and specialized knowledge will play a vital role in helping them achieve their rehabilitation objectives.

Qualifications

• Active California licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctor or Master of Physical Therapy (DPT/MPT) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic principles, treatment techniques, and patient assessment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with the care team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
