Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that clearly outline therapeutic goals and strategies tailored to their unique needs and situations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders and empower clients in their recovery journey.

• Guide clients and their families through educational sessions about mood disorders, discussing various treatment options and effective self-care strategies to bolster their mental health.

• Regularly monitor client progress, conducting follow-up assessments and revising treatment plans based on effectiveness and changing needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses both therapeutic and medical aspects of treatment.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatments to continually refine your approach and provide the highest quality of care.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans according to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.
