Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of therapeutic activities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, ensuring meticulous documentation from the initial consultation to treatment outcome.

• Evaluating and diagnosing clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral conditions, utilizing recognized assessment instruments where applicable.

• Designing and implementing personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and various group formats.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that foster a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue and healing.

• Monitoring and documenting client progress throughout treatment, adapting strategies and interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to ensure efficient management of client information.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Place of Grace Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive compensation package, with an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
