Work Environment\n

As a member of our counseling team, you will work remotely, yet have the support and resources of our outpatient office. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations, to create tailored treatment plans in collaboration with primary care providers.

• Deliver brief, focused therapeutic interventions to clients in need of mental health support, aligning with our established Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.
\n
• Regularly follow up with patients to monitor their progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment approaches when required.
\n
• Identify at-risk patients and develop proactive plans to address their mental health concerns before they escalate.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of patients' progress and diagnostic information, ensuring continuity of care through effective communication with other healthcare professionals.
\n
• Work cooperatively within an interdisciplinary team, contributing insights to enhance overall patient care.
\n
• Provide educational resources and self-management skills to equip patients with the tools necessary for their recovery.
\n
• Support patients in following medical regimens advised by primary care providers, including strategies for coping with side effects.

• Commit to the highest ethical standards as outlined in the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will support a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing acute and chronic mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• Proficiency in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic techniques.

• Strong understanding of DSM-IV diagnoses and developmental psychopathology.

• Ability to maintain clinical records with precision and prepare comprehensive reports.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is $87,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and a generous sign-on bonus to help you transition smoothly into your new role.
