Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for patients entering the detox program, ensuring accurate assessments to determine their needs and appropriate care levels.

• Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers to develop tailored discharge plans, facilitating patients’ transitions to ongoing care and support systems.

• Document patient progress and interventions in accordance with regulatory standards, completing all necessary statistical reports to maintain compliance and enhance care quality.

• Engage in collaboration with the Department of Correction to advocate for patient access, secure proper housing, and ensure seamless transitions in treatment plans.
\n
• Lead therapeutic group sessions and individual therapy, focusing on client-centered approaches in mental health observation units and related settings.
\n
• Participate in weekly clinical supervision, utilizing reflective practices to enhance your clinical skills and ensure high-quality patient care.

• Join interdisciplinary rounds, offering insights during mental health and medical evaluations while contributing to integrated treatment planning.

• Facilitate case conferences to discuss treatment paths for patients currently receiving or recommended for mental health services.

• Conduct crisis interventions and follow-up care to provide ongoing support and adjust treatment strategies as needed.

• Supervise intern social workers or student volunteers as required, fostering development in future healthcare professionals.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
