Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as the primary point of contact for families, maintaining proactive communication and fostering a trusting relationship to encourage engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing our specialized clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy techniques to guide treatment.
\n
• Lead new Family Orientations and Welcome Presentations, ensuring families understand our treatment approach and feel integrated into the recovery process.
\n
• Manage documentation responsibilities, which include timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries consistent with established standards.
\n
• Accurately input and maintain client data through various platforms including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
\n
• Engage actively in weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision, contributing to holistic team discussions and client strategy development.
\n
• Participate in professional meetings, trainings, and conferences representing Positive Progress Counseling Center, engaging in continuous professional development.
\n
• Independently manage your schedule to ensure that client sessions and administrative duties are completed efficiently and effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on adolescents and young adults facing an array of challenges including mental health issues, substance abuse, eating disorders, and trauma. Through empathy, expertise, and evidence-based treatment approaches, you will play a significant role in their healing journey. Your work will provide crucial support to both individuals and families, fostering constructive coping strategies and resilient mental health patterns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited or state-approved graduate school.

• License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent credential is required, alongside board registration (APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, MHCA) or state-approved Psychologic Associate status.

• Proven experience in individual, group, and family therapy, particularly with adolescents and young adults.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Expertise in treating mental health issues, substance use disorders, eating disorders, or trauma-informed care is preferred.

• Experience in working within a hybrid (in-person and virtual) healthcare environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 90,000 to 105,000, along with the added benefit of a sign-on bonus. In addition to a fair compensation structure, our compensation model also includes hourly pay alongside commission on client sessions, enabling motivated professionals to enhance their earnings based on impactful work practices.
