Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and assessments to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Facilitate follow-up care through regular telehealth sessions, ensuring continuity of care and adapting treatment plans as necessitated by patient progress.

• Collaborate effectively with the Department of Correction to coordinate treatment for incarcerated individuals, ensuring they receive the proper mental health support.

• Document all patient interactions and care plans meticulously to meet regulatory and organizational requirements, maintaining high standards of confidentiality and compliance.

• Lead engaging group therapy sessions aimed at fostering peer support, sharing coping strategies, and enhancing overall well-being among assigned units.
\n
• Participate in clinical supervision at least once weekly with a Clinical Supervisor, gaining insights and feedback to enrich your practice.

• Contribute actively to case conferences and multi-disciplinary treatment planning sessions to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care delivery for patients.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest best practices in mental health counseling by participating in professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, such as severe mental illness, substance use disorders, and behavioral challenges, particularly in a correctional setting. Your ability to empathize and establish rapport will be instrumental in guiding patients toward recovery and positive behavioral change.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as an LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Washington.

• A master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• A minimum of five years of post-licensure, full-time, paid professional experience providing direct client care in a behavioral health setting, with relevant experience in corrections highly preferred.

• Exceptional skills in crisis intervention, thorough clinical assessments, and developing comprehensive treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience leading group therapy and providing both individual and group counseling in a correctional or similar environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology.

• Past involvement with multidisciplinary teams in treatment planning and case management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
