Desired Qualifications:

• Meets requirements for at least one of the following: S10, S10A, S10E, S10F, S10Q, S10W, S20D, S20V, or S22.
• Associate’s degree, or 48+ college units plus high school diploma, or passing of CBEST/Instructional Aide exam with high school diploma.
• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting within the last two years preferred.
• Relevant certifications, such as CPR/First Aid; license as applicable (e.g., S22 – LVN for certain roles).
• Specialized skills—such as sign language communication, working with behavioral/medical needs, or experience supporting vision impairments—are valued.
• Completion of required training modules for health and safety procedures where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement instructional support as assigned by teachers and administrators.
• Support students with physical care such as toileting, feeding, and health procedures (e.g., G-tube feeding).
• Assist in the delivery of individualized behavior or learning interventions.
• Maintain flexible, teamwork-oriented approach, adapting to diverse assignments.
• Uphold safety and welfare of each student throughout the school day.
