This position is entirely remote, leveraging modern telehealth technology to facilitate therapy sessions. You will work from the comfort of your own home while maintaining the structure and support typical of an in-office practice. Our team prioritizes work-life balance, operating during regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to create a fulfilling personal and professional life.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms, which may include documenting the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder indicators, ensuring a comprehensive understanding to inform treatment decisions.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate tailored treatment plans, aligning therapeutic goals with their individual needs and preferences to foster a sense of ownership over their mental health journey.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate meaningful change and progress in clients’ lives.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices to empower them outside of therapy.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to coordinate integrated care, ensuring that socio-emotional and medical needs are met through interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Stay current with relevant research and developments in mood disorder treatments, integrating new knowledge into best practices and care deliveries.
\n
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation of client interactions while adhering to legal and ethical standards throughout your practice.

• Participate in case consults and team meetings to discuss complex cases and engage in ongoing professional development.

• Serve as a champion for the mental health community, reducing stigma around mood disorders and advocating for client needs within and beyond therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. This demographic often requires nuanced understanding and strategic intervention to navigate their challenges effectively. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be critical in fostering therapeutic alliances, which are essential for client success in managing their conditions.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Deep knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Ability to understand psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers involved in client care.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes in mood disorder treatments.

• Exceptional communication skills, fostering the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and facilitate engaging therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
