Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms exhibited by clients suffering from mood disorders.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans focused on their unique goals, preferences, and clinical needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in tailored treatment sessions.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families, guiding them through treatment options and self-care strategies to promote recovery.

• Monitor client progress diligently by tracking improvements and adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to execute integrated treatment plans.

• Stay informed of advancements in the treatment of mood disorders and integrate new knowledge into practice.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in professional development activities, team meetings, and case discussions to enhance clinical competencies and share insights.

• Act as an advocate for clients, helping to de-stigmatize mental health issues while addressing their needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. Your ability to establish a rapport with clients from various backgrounds will be instrumental in building trust and promoting effective treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.

• Current and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment strategies, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and a collaborative working relationship with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
