Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorders in clients.

• Creating personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s objectives, preferences, and clinical evidence.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.

• Providing ongoing education and support to clients and families regarding mood disorders and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitoring client progress through systematic tracking, and adapting treatment strategies to reflect changes in client needs.

• Engaging in collaborative care efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated mental health services.

• Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment to enhance therapeutic practices.
\n
• Accurately documenting all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in regular case consultations and team development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Advocating for clients’ mental health needs and addressing stigma while fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population grappling with relationship issues, mood disorders, and family dynamics. You will support clients of various ages and backgrounds, helping them to navigate challenges such as divorce, family conflict, and mental health struggles, thereby empowering them toward recovery and improved relational outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• An empathetic, nonjudgmental approach to client experiences and difficulties.

Compensation and Benefits\n
