The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our well-equipped outpatient office located in the scenic town of Appomattox, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their recovery needs following injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Frequent reassessment and adjustment of treatment goals based on patient progress and feedback.
• Guide and educate patients and their families on exercises and self-care techniques to promote independent mobility and pain management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient care and share insights from therapy sessions.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy through continuous education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your work will be on a diverse patient population, encompassing children, adults, and seniors facing a range of physical challenges, from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field, with valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Two years of clinical experience in physical therapy setting, though we welcome motivated candidates with less experience to apply.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interactions with patients, their families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in word processing and electronic health record (EHR) management systems.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and demonstrate a flexible approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
