Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history, performing specific assessments, and systematically documenting findings and recommendations.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, ensuring active involvement in setting realistic and achievable goals.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, adapting to individual patient presentations and the dynamic healthcare environment.
• Engage in multidisciplinary consultations as necessary, advocating for the patient's best interests at all times.
• Monitor and record changes in patient conditions, making timely adjustments to treatment plans or referring for specialized care as required.
• Complete discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring smooth transitions for patients.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient care activities, including clinical notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, to provide a comprehensive picture of the patient's journey.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations while maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to patient care.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to promote healthcare access and patient engagement.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement by participating in team meetings, collaborating on departmental goals, and upholding compliance with governmental and accreditation standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a wide range of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, accidents, sports injuries, and chronic ailments. You'll work with individuals of all ages, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs and helping them overcome physical challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license required to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, we welcome recent graduates who demonstrate a strong passion for patient care and a commitment to professional development.

Compensation and Benefits
