Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our outpatient office located in Appomattox, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing their physical condition, mobility limitations, and rehabilitation goals, all while adhering to physician's orders.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation of patient care activities, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and insurance charge entries, ensuring compliance with professional standards.

• Supervise the activities of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff, providing guidance on patient care and therapeutic practices to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Regularly evaluate the efficacy of therapeutic interventions and adapt treatment plans as necessary to meet the evolving needs of patients.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to maximize patient care coordination and treatment outcomes.
