Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patients' medical histories, completing systematic assessments, and documenting results and treatment recommendations.
• Communicate evaluation findings clearly to patients and their families, actively involving them in establishing personalized treatment goals.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on each patient's assessments, responses to therapy, and current best practices in orthopedic care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams as needed, recognizing signs that may require a change in the patient's plan of care or additional medical consultations.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of treatment, including accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain effective time management skills, ensuring timely documentation, adherence to productivity standards, and participation in community outreach and marketing strategies.
• Participate in the development and achievement of departmental goals, complying with all accreditation and regulatory standards to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development and mentoring not only for personal growth but also to cultivate future professionals in the field of physical therapy.
• Work collaboratively to enhance patient access to care, utilizing data-driven strategies to remove barriers that might affect patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients, assisting individuals recovering from surgeries such as joint replacements or those rehabilitating from acute injuries. Our patient demographic ranges from active adults to seniors, all of whom depend on our expertise to regain mobility and maintain an active lifestyle. Your role will be crucial in tailoring treatment programs to fit each patient's specific needs, demonstrating empathy and commitment throughout their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory for the practice.
• Current American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
